Dr. Heifetz-Li is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practices a wide scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery (extraction of teeth, placement of implants, bone grafting), adult & pediatric intravenous (IV) sedation/general anesthesia, maxillofacial pathology, head & neck infections, and management of temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD). He has a clinical interest in serving pediatric and special needs populations.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Heifetz-Li is committed to the scientific advancement of oral and maxillofacial surgery through research and innovation. He has authored and presented on numerous topics, including anesthesia & surgical airway management, orthognathic surgery, temporomandibular joint disorders, and maxillofacial pathology. He currently is engaged in research projects investigating the epidemiology of maxillofacial trauma, hospital utilization/quality assurance, and the efficacy of virtual surgical planning on patient outcomes.
