I went to Connecticut Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Guilford for a tooth extraction. From to the front desk, dental assistants and Dr. Salomon are professional, courteous and very friendly. Dr. Salomon and his dental assistant made me feel comfortable during my procedure. The novicane was relatively painless and felt no pain during the extraction. I am highly grateful that my dentist recommended Coastal Connecticut Oral & Maxillofacial. I hope I don't have to have anymore extractions, but if I do I would definitely go back to Dr. Salomon.

I want to give a huge shoutout to the Guilford office. From the front desk all the way to my doctor ( Dr. Heifetz-Li). I received the best care imaginable. I was initially scared and nervous because i’m very anxious when it comes to going to the dentist, let alone have to get 6 teeth extracted (my wisdom teeth and two others) at once. I truly feel that it doesn’t get any better than Dr.Heifetz-Li. He is definitely a dentist who loves what he does. He made the process so smooth, constantly asked me if i had any concerns, and ensured i was pain-free during the procedure. Outside of him being highly-skilled, the procedure didn’t take long at all (about an hour exactly). He even called me a few hours after the procedure to check on me (to which i’ve never experienced before). All of which exemplifies his exceptional character that radiates beyond him being a doctor. Also i’m very grateful of the constant communication from the front desk receptionist. She helped me contact my dentist (which wasn’t easy) to ensure they had all the necessary items to carry out the procedure effortlessly. I couldn’t have been taken care of by a better team! P.S. I typed this review from my bed hours after my procedure because i felt that i couldn’t miss the opportunity to express my gratitude.

My 8 year old daughter had oral surgery this morning to have four teeth extracted. She was super nervous for the past few days leading up to our appointment. We walked in to find a very sweet smiling face behind the front desk. Within just a couple minutes, Lisa appeared through the waiting room door and was ready for us. She was truly amazing! She was so gentle and caring with our little peanut. She even gave her a blanket and let her hold onto one of the office’s stuffed animals when getting her situated in the room. I wish I knew the other girls name that was there because she was equally as kind to all of us. Dr Conforti came into the procedure room and was very friendly and kind. All three of them helped to put my daughters (and my) nerves at ease! Not only did they make her comfortable, they treated her with so much care and genuine love. We were given fantastic instructions upon discharge from the recovery room. My daughter was given some treasures and a cool sticker to take home. As if this experience wasn’t special enough, my phone rang at 7:00pm, it was Doctor Conforti calling to check in to see how she was doing and to make sure that everything was ok. Talk about going above and beyond! I have had a major fear of dentistry since I was a small child and I tell you this was just amazing!!! Thank you so much to this amazing team! Your compassion and kindness oozes out of your whole being!!! I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone in need of dental work. You guys are truly amazing!!! My daughter thanks you so much too!!!

This morning I had two of my wisdom teeth pulled from Coastal Connecticut Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Guilford. From the front desk people to the nurses and the doctor that did the surgery. Everyone was so sweet and made it completely painless. I just needed to do a shout out now that I am home and awake from a quick nap. I had such an anxiety about it and they made it an experience that was so manageable and I just wanted to recommend them highly to anyone in need of an oral surgeon , thank you all at Coastal Connecticut. You were all wonderful today.

The staff at the Guilford office are so kind and patient. We never even had to wait more than a few minutes for our appointments. Their communication throughout the process was great too! They went above and beyond to make us and our intellectually disabled son feel comfortable and relaxed during a very stressful time. Dr. Heifitz-Li was exceptional throughout the whole process and we feel very lucky he was the one to remove our son's wisdom teeth and front tooth. He clearly loves his profession and puts his heart into his work!

Dr. Heifetz-Li and his staff were top notch. This was my second extraction but first time here. He knew how petrified I was but he and his assistants were second to none. They made sure at all times I was comfortable and as relaxed as I could be. Didn't even know the tooth was out. I would not hesitate to go back. My son will be there for his wisdom teeth next week. I have had 2 molar extractions and a dental implant; all performed by Dr. Johnson. I have a history of dry-socket along with high tolerance to all anesthesia and numbing agents. I was spared the misery of dry socket after my extractions with Dr. Johnson, the level of Novocain was perfect and the implant process went smoothly, with no pain or discomfort! Dr. Johnson is highly skilled, comfortable to be around and very “calming”!

I’m writing this review as I was so incredibly impressed with the Hamden office for a tooth extraction . I want to say a huge Thankyou to the office , my dental surgeon, but especially the dental nurse “Lisa Evans” she was my first point of contact entering the room she was professional, experienced, kind, made me feel so comfortable, with such reassurance she would be there every step of the way! I've a patient of Dr. Johnson's since 2016 and have been so grateful for the care I have received. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson for oral and jaw problems, he will figure what the issues are and quickly come up recommendations for the appropriate treatment options. I was referred to David Salomon, DDS at the Coastal Connecticut Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Office in Guilford, CT. for a biopsy of a patch inside my cheek. From the moment I entered their office I was treated in a kind, friendly and respectful way. The office is open, clean and pleasant. When you are in the “chair” you face a wall of windows overlooking a country pond. I found this made me feel comfortable and very relaxed. Dr. Salomon and his staff were very pleasant and answered all my questions removing all tension and concerns. The procedure when smoothly and quickly and I had very little discomfort afterwards. This was a good experience and I would definitely recommend this group of doctors.

I went to Dr. Johnson for a tooth extraction for an infected tooth. I was very nervous, especially because my mouth is super sensitive to pain. Dr. Johnson and his assistant spoke to me a while before the procedure. They were very pleasant and it calmed me right down. The novacaines were relatively painless, and I felt no pain with the extraction. It took longer to get my mouth numb than the actual tooth extraction. It was very quick. The assistant was great and both the doctor and assistant answered all my questions. An Advil took take of the very minor residual pain, and healing went well. I was very grateful that my dentist recommended Dr. Johnson. I hope I don't have to have any more extractions, but if I do, I would definitely go back to Dr. Johnson.

I had such a great experience with Coastal Connecticut Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Office and I would definitely recommend getting your surgery done with their team. Their whole office provides such a friendly atmosphere that you don't want to miss out on because great service is what makes me stay. I am so appreciative on their staff's kindness and respect when I had my consultation and surgery here. My surgery went well and all the information was clearly emailed to me regarding pre surgery and post surgery. They have great communication and is always there to answer patient's questions right away during their office hours.

Dr. Saggese is an exceptional doctor, and the staff couldn't be better. I would highly recommend him and this practice to anyone who needs an outstanding oral surgeon. And the Guilford office where I had my consultation is so beautiful and spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking and easy access to the building.

Dr. Saggese is the the finest doctor I have ever needed. He spent a great deal of time and effort during and after I had tooth pulled. I had a large and painful infection and he used all of his expertise to get rid of it - even calling me at home during the 4th of July holiday weekend to check up on my well-being. He has a kind, caring, and professional staff. I cannot praise and recommend Dr. Saggese and his staff, in both locations, enough.

One of my molars has been bothering me for like 6months. I began a root canal in NY and then my family relocated to CT. During the transition my temporary filling began to dissipate and my tooth became hallow and cracked. I visited a dentist close to my new home to just get the tooth extracted but I was told the tooth was rather large so it would need to be surgically removed. At that point I didn’t feel comfortable having this procedure done by anyone other than an oral surgeon . Due to personal circumstances I had to wait about two weeks prior to scheduling , during this time my tooth became EXTREMELY painful and I was unable to eat , sleep or even think clearly because of the constant pressure of the tooth causing severe headaches. I was referred to about 6 offices ( 5 of of which did not have immediate availability ) . I was able to get an appointment at Coastal Connecticut Oral & Maxillofacial surgery (Hamden location) for the following Monday I just had to make it through the weekend!!! Entering the office the receptionist was friendly but the real rock stars were all in the back! The dental assistants were completely warm , welcoming and funny. I was ecstatic to see the dentist (Dr. Salomon) was cut from the same cloth! During my appointment they kept me engaged , comfortable and literally held my hand through the procedure. They were not only knowledgeable but relatable as everyone shared similar random life stories to keep me in high spirits and distracted from the procedure. Dr. Salomon made sure I was completely numb and talked me through the scary sounds that I heard but never felt! A few of the team members are from the Guilford office and just happened to be working in Hamden today. (LUCKY ME!!) I entered with such an extreme level of anxiety and nervousness left the office feeling like my warm bubbly self before the problems with my tooth began. Visiting the dentist gives MILLIONS of people such fear from horrible past experiences that we tend to neglect our dental health. With a practice like Coastal Connecticut it’s finally possible to not only practice better dental hygiene but to be excited about your next dental appointment. Bravo Coastal Connecticut you’ve gained an entire family of patients!

I was very pleased with the friendly/professional atmosphere of this office. Had not slept for days thinking about my procedure and from the minute I walked in the door my anxiety level lowered. Your receptionist, Omar, x Ray technician and Dr Saggese explained the procedure step by step and it was a very friendly atmosphere. All went well and I would recommend this office to anyone. Only had five stars to rate but in my eyes they were a ten.

The staff extends themselves in a friendly comfortable manner. I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. David Salomon, who is kind and committed to his patient's. He took the time making sure I was ok, and while I wouldn't be in a hurry to have a dental procedure, when or if the time comes, I would definitely go and see him again and recommend his expertise highly. The view is very beautiful and calming looking at the water.
